DRAINAGE AT CAMBRIDGE.
EXTENDING THE SYSTEM. CONSIDERATION BY COUNCIL. [BY TELEGR A PH. —0 ff.V CORRESPONDENT.] CAMBRIDGE. Friday. Arising out of a report from (lie district health inspector, the Borough Council at its meeting last evening discussed the extension of the sewerage system. Tho Mayor said tho engineer estimated that a scheme to include tho greater portion of tho borough would cost £15,500. This amount would also provide for financial assistance for those ratepayers living on the outskirts.
The council set up a committee to go into the matter and to report to a later meeting of the council.
