SEATS IN THE CABINET.
ANOTHER VACANCY PROBABLE MR. ANDERSON MAY RETIRE. THREE POSITIONS TO BE FILLED. [BY TELEGRAPH. —SPECIAL REPORTER.. J WELLINGTON, Friday. After the general election there will be three vacancies in the Cabinet which Mr. Coates will have to fill, provided he is again returned to power. Ihe vacancies will be those caused by the death of the lato Hon. R. F. Bollard, by the retirement of the Hon. W. Noswortliy, and the retirement of the Hon. G. J. Anderson.
Although no definite statement has been made in the case of Mr. Anderson, it is reported the medical authorities ho has consulted in London confirm the diagnosis of the New Zealand doctors, in which case it will not be desirable for Mr. Anderson to again undertake the strain of Ministerial office. It is suggested in Reform circles that both he and Mr. Noswortliy will be called to the Legislative Council.
