CRUISE OF THE PACIFIC.
DUNEDIN LEAVES NEXT WEEK.
A VISIT TO HONOLULU.
The departure of H.M.S. Dunedin on a cruise of the Pacific, originally fixed for next Tuesday has been postponed until the afternoon of the following day. The itinerary has been arranged to include Honolulu, where the warship will join units of the United States Navy assembled for the celebrations in August in honour of Captain Cook. After visiting Lautoka, Nandi Waters, and Levuka, the Dunedin will arrive at Suva on July 18, and remain there until she leaves for Honolulu on August 3. Arriving at Honolulu on August 11, the vessel will remain there until August 20. Fanning Island, Christmas Island, Jervis Island, Penryhn, Rakahanga, Manahiki, and Puka Puku will be visited in turn and Suva will be reached again on September 3.
The Dunedin will leaves.Suva on September 7 and is due back at Auckland on September 11.
