GUARDS REGIMENTS.
OVERSEAS SERVICE PLAN. WELSH BATTALION FOR EGYPT. (Received June 18, 5.35 p.m.) British Wireless. RUGBY, June 17. The Army Council has decided to use the Guards Regiments for service overseas. The first battalion of the Welsh Guards will go to Egypt for a short period of garrison duty, instead" of a line battalion, which would normally have been detailed.
