SUPPER PARTY. The Technical Old Girls' Association held a very enjoyable supper party in the winter show dining room on Thursday evening, whe*i they entertained the teachers and wives of the teachers at the Technical High School to supper. Mrs. W. Fraser and Mrs. Waish acted as hostesses. Those presient included Miss E. Rothwell, secretary, Mrs. Brown, Mrs. Pemberton, Mrs. L„ Day, Mrs. Toombs, Miss Madeley, Miss Noble, Miss Osmers, Miss McNicol, Miss Wright, Miss Turner, Miss Webster, Miss Annette, Miss Finlayson, Miss Walsh, Miss Buck, Miss Osmers, Miss Webster, Miss A. Bliss, Miss Cunnold, Miss Mcintosh, Miss Luxton, Miss Dowd. Presentation of Croquet Prizes. The Te Awamutu Croquet Club closed their season on Tuesday with a euchre party at the Central Tea Rooms, at which the prizes for the season were presented by Mrs. Bray. The trophies were as follows A Championship. —Mrs. Davis, runnerup, Mrs. McArthur; B grade, Mrs. Jeffreys; C grade, Mrs. Teasdale; A doubles, Mesdames Davis and Blundell ; A and B handicaps, Mrs. Bowden and Mrs. Rickit. A presentation was also made to Mrs. Bray, who i:s shortly to be married. The winners of the euchre prizes were Dr. and Mrs. Blundell. Among those present were:—Mrs. T. Y. Collins, Mrs. McArthur, Mrs. Bray, Mrs. o'Sullivan, Mrs. Battson, Mrs. Layne, Mrs. Houston, Mrs. Blunclell, Mrs. Chittenden, Mrs. Lord, Mrs.. Bevin, Mrs. Bowden, Mrs. Rickit, Mrs. Metcalfe, Mrs. Davis, Mrs. Jeffreys, Mrs. Jeffs and Mrs. Teasdale. Personal. Mrs. Hetherington, inspector of schools, is in Hamilton. Mrs. D. McNicol has returned from the Thames Coast. Mrs. W. Gummer, of Auckland, is the guest of Miss Jolly, Lakji Road.
