MISSING AIRSHIP ITALIA.
NEWS MOM SEARCH PARTY. TERRIBLE WEATHER MET. SLOW PROGRESS BEING MADE. (Received June I, 5.5 p.m.) United Service. LONDON, May 31. A copyright wireless message from the search party sent out from tho Citta di Milano, the supply ship of the missing airship Italia, from King's Bay, Svalbard (Spitzbergen), says: "We landed at Southgate and are slowly progressing in the direction of Mossel Bay. We cannot arrive before June 4 owing to the terrible weather. Aerial reconnaissances cannot begin before June 7, as they must be thoroughly considered and organised, in view of the treaeherousness of the region. There is no news from the trappers on the North Friesland coast, as communication at present, is exceptionally difficult. The weather continues to bo very stormy, with north gales and blinding snow squalls."
