A- SATISFACTORY YEAR.
OFFICERS OF THE SOCIETY.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] PAPAROA. Friday. A satisfactory year's working was shown in the report presented at the annual meeting of the North Kaipara Agricultural Society last evening. Mr. E. R. Jenkins presided. A recommendation to the incoming committee in favour of making the show a county show, held alternately at Paparoa, Maungaturoto and Ruawai, with a view to securing wider interest and increased membership, was rejected. The show will continue to be held at Paparoa as at present. Tho treasurer's statement showed a credit balance of £SO 7s. The meeting authorised a fresh loan of £IOO to pay off the existing mortgage. Tho election, of officers resulted:— Patron, the Prime Minister, Mr. Coates; president, Mr. E. R. Jenkins; vice-presi-dents, Messrs. J. F. Mills, E. O. Evans, G. Smith, R. Coates, Mesdames C. H. Jenkins and E. A. Cliff; committee, Mrs. G. Petley, Messrs. T. Wilson, G. Dodds, H. Cliff, J. W. Cliff, E. Hames, R. Spick, V. Cliff, A. Wilson, J. Briscoe, E. Birtles, J. J. Sutherland, D. Withers, A. 11. Tibbits, G. Peiley, O. C. Hames, M. N. Skelton, R. Efford; auditor, Mr. E. G. Aickin; treasurer, Mr. D. H. Nicholas.
