DANCING.

A special race night carnival will be held at the Dixieland Cabaret this evening. Music by the Internationals 4 and cabaret items will be attractive features. This afternoon there will be the usual tea dan-:e. A special attraction for Monday evening next will be the King's Birthday Ball. Dancing and special entertainment will continue until 1.30 a.m. The Premier Dances will hold their opening evening "in the Lewis Eady Hall, Queen Street, to-night. Alex. Kosenoe's Premier Dance Band will supply music in ideal surroundings. A plain and fancy dress ball and euchre tournament will lie held by the Labour Party in Scots Hall, Symonds Street, on Thursday, .Tune 14. Dancing will continue until 12 o'clock, and euchre until 10 o'clock. A plain and fancy-dress dance carnival will be held in the clubhouse, Bavswater Wharf, on Monday evening next. Birtley's No. 1 Orchestra will provide the music. The weekly dance of the Victoria Cruising Club will be held in the clubhouse, Fanshawe Street, nexfc Monday. There will be old-time and modern dances. The Parisian Dance Club will hold its usual Saturday dance in the Kitchener Hall this evening. The Felix Dance Club will hold a dance in the Orange Hall. Newton Road, this evening. There will be novelties, and the orchestra of eight players will be directed by Mr. Lauri Paddi.
