ITALIAN MIGRANTS.
Sir,— May I beg of your courtesy to rectify the error contained in the cablegram from Sydney which appeared in your issue of May 28, and in which it was stated that 1200 Italian emigrants arrived by the Italian steamer Maria Cristina. I had good reason to doubt the correctness of that figure, and I cabled to my colleague to know the exact number. I have now received a reply to the eflect that they are 250.
