THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL.
The Governor-General, Sir Charles Fergtisson, paid a visit to the butter-grading stores at King's Wharf yesterday morning. This morning His Excellency, will' be present at a meeting of the Executive Council and 1 later, with' Lady Alice Fergusson, will attend the Auckland Racing Club's winter "meeting at Ellerslie. -This afternoon Sir Charles will present the Earl Jellicoe Trident to the Calliope Company of Sea-Scouts'and'-will'inspect about 1000 Boy Scouts 'and-Cribs at the Drill Hall, Rutland Street. '. . : '' On Monday His Excellency will inspect a parade of about 5000 members of naval and military units at the Domain, in honour of the King's Birthday.; He will also be present at a luncheon to be-given to King's Empire Veterans at the Town Hall by the Auckland City Council, the Patriotic Association and the Returned Soldiers' Association. Their Excellencies will give an official dinner party at Government House on Monday evening :n honour of the King's Birthday.
