HEAD-ON COLLISION.
MOTOR-CAR STRIKES VAN. ACCIDENT AT HAMILTON. [BY TELEGRAPH. OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON, Tuesday. A head-on collision occurred in Hamilton this afternoon in London Street. A car driven by Mr. W. R. Shattock, a butcher, of Hamilton, was proceeding along London Street in the direction of Hamilton when it collided with a .van driven by Mr. Thomas Henry Barry, of Morrinsville. The van was considerably damaged and the driver was severely cut about the face. He was taken to the Waikato Hospital, and is reported to be in a satisfactory condition. The car was not damaged to any extent, and Mr. Shattock escaped without injury.
