PEDESTRIANS INJURED.
KNOCKED DOWN BY CARS.
THREE CASES YESTERDAY.
ONE IN SERIOUS CONDITION.
Three people were injured in motor accidents in Auckland yesterday. In the morning Mrs. H. Kennerly, of Hepburn Street, Ponsonby, was knocked down by a car near Western Park. She was conveyed to the hospital by the St. John Ambulance, and was found to have sustained fairly serious injuries to the head.
After descending from a motor-bus near the Great South Road terminus shortly after 3 o'clock in. the afternoon, Mr. R. Buchan. ot Waioha Road, Ellerslie, was struck by a motor-car travelling toward the city. Hn sustained a fracture of the left leg.
Early in the evening, Mr. S. J. Jones, of Hillcrest Avenue. Avondale, was knocked down by a car near his home. His head was injured, and an operation was performed in the Auckland Hospital. At a late hour his condition was stated to be serious.
