ACTIVITY OF VENIZELOS. TERMS TO THE ROYALISTS. Australian and N.Z. Press Association. (Received May 27, 5.55 p.m.) ATHENS. May 26. It is announced that Mr. Venizelos has . offered to resign the leadership of the Liberals and to leave Greece if the Royalist parties unreservedly accept the Republic. The leader of the Party of Free Opinion, General loannes Metascas, is consulting the leader of the Popular Party, Mr. Panayioti Tsaldaris. Mr. Venizelos has agreed to a reconstruct on of the Cabinet, wnich, he says, he will tolerate if a bill to institute a Senate is promptly passed.
