RESIGNATION OF MINISTER. PORTFOLIO OF EDUCATION. (Received J£ay 26, 5.5 p.m.) United Service. TOKIO, May 25. The Minister of Education, Mr. Mizuno, has resigned in consequence of charges that he had dragged the Throne into politics. A former Minister of Finance, Mr. Kazue Shoda, has been appointed to 6ucceed him. Mr. Mizuno was given the portfolio of Education after the recent election, in succession to Mr. Chizo Mitsuchi. Mr, was Afmister for Home Affairs in the Cabinet formed by Viscount Iviyoura in 1924.
