May I be permitted to point out that "A.D.H.," writing under the above heading in Friday's Herald, has rather missed the point. A question was asked by a lady member of the House (namely Miss Wilkinson) and later another by Lady Astor. In both cases the answers were supplied by Sir Austen Chamberlain, but it must be understood that tne Speaker is in control, just as a chairman is at an ordinary meeting,- and all speeches, questions, answers, etc., are addressed to him. The "glaring example, when viewed in this light, is after ail, not only grammatically correct, but also constitutional. H. P. Aong.
