Mr. J. H. Johnson, of Dunedin, is at the Grand Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. J. Pearce Luke, of Wellington, are at the Central Hotel. Dr. H. Selwyn Kenrick, of Welling, ton, and Mr. C. W. 8. Ogilvie, of Sydney, are at the Hotel Stonehurst. Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Lebret, of London, and Mr. and Mrs, R. L. Earl, of Wellington, are at the Hotel Stonehurst. Mr. E. Robertson, of Rotorua; Mr. L. Cupples, of Cambridge, and Mr. T. M. Smith, of Dunedin. are at the Royal Hotel. i Mr. E. G. Thorpe, boys' welfare officer at Auckland, has been transferred to take charge of the Child Welfare Department at Hamilton. His place will bo taken by Mr. J- R- O'Sullivan. Mr. A Todd, Mr. W. Swapp, and Mr. H. Jefferson, of Wellington, Mr. W. H. Herrick, of Christchurch, Mr. J. Black, of Dunedin, and Mr. N. Hall, of Otorohanga. are at the Star Hotel. Mr. W. Grounds, chairman of the Dairv Produce Board, is at the Star Hotel. He will leave for Hamilton on Wednesday, and will proceed to the South Island later in the week. Mr. Robert Whitson, of Remuera, who was injured in the railway accident on the Gisborne line on May 21, returned home by easy stages during the weekend. Although still/ suffering from the effects of His injuries, Mr. Whitnon hopes to resume bis business activities during the next week or two.
