IMPALED ON SPLINTER.
[by telegraph.—6wn CORRESPONDENT.J RAETIHI. Sunday. A boy, D. Davey, met with a painful accident while playing in the grounds of the Raetihi school. He was playing near a wood pile when he fell on a splinter of wood 9in. long, sm. of which pierced his leg.
