DEATH AFTER QUARREL.
VERDICT OF MANSLAUGHTER. SENTENCE BY ROMA COURT. BRISBANE, May 22. At the trial at Roma of the two brothers, Robert and Alfred Laycock, on the charge of murdering Frederick Turvey on February 3, the jury returned a verdict of manslaughter, with a strong recommendation to mercy owing to the provocation received. Both men were sentenced to imprisonment for five years.
