FRENCH LEGION OF HONOUR. SERVICES TO LAWN TENNIS. (Received May 22, 5.5 p.m.) United Service. PARIS. May 21. The President, M. Doumergue, to-day conferred on Mr. Norman Brookes, the famous Australian lawn tennis player, the order of a Chevalier of the Legion of Honour, in recognition of his distinguished tennis career and his services to the French tennis players in Australia.
