DISPLAY AT TE AWAMUTU. [BT TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] TE AWAMUTU, Thursday. St. John's annual flower show opened today with a glorious display of autumn flowers, chrysanthemums predominating, and dahlias a close second. Tho principal awards were:— Chrysanthemums.—White: H. C. Rainey, 1 and 2; Mrs. Coggins, 3. Yellow, Rairey, W. H. Davies, 1; Mrs. Coggins, 2. Red: Mrs. Coggins, 1; Rainey, 2. Pink: Rainey, 1; Mrs. Coggins, 2; Davies, 3. Any other colour: Rainey, 1 and champion. Autumn tints: Mrs. Coggins. Six varieties: Rainey, 1; Mrs. Coggins, 2; Davies, 3. Three varieties: Rainey, 1; Davies, 2: Mrs. Coggins, 3. Chrysanthemum Sprays.—White: Mrs. R. Laurie, 1: Mrs. K. Dawson, 2. Yellow: Mrs. Laurie. Red: Mrs. Laurie. Dahlias.—Twelve kinds: A. Blackmail, 1; Blundell, 2. Threo cactus: Mrs. Coggins, 1; Mrs. Dawson, 2. Three peony: Blackman, 1; Mrs. Coggins, 2. Three, any variety; Blackman. Roses: Mrs. Oliphant, 1; Mrs. Mandeno, 2. Cosvnea: Mrs. A. H. Storey. Collection cut flowers: Mrs. Dawson, 1; Mrs. Storey, 2. Decorated table: Miss Mandeno, 1; Miss Davis, 2; Miss Wallace, 3. Bowl flowers: Mrs. Jeffery. Bowl chrysanthemums: Mrs. Oliphant, 1; Mrs. Ryburn, 2.
