St. John's annual flower show opened today with a glorious display of autumn flowers, chrysanthemums predominating, and dahlias a close second. Tho principal awards were:— Chrysanthemums.—White: H. C. Rainey, 1 and 2; Mrs. Coggins, 3. Yellow, Rairey, W. H. Davies, 1; Mrs. Coggins, 2. Red: Mrs. Coggins, 1; Rainey, 2. Pink: Rainey, 1; Mrs. Coggins, 2; Davies, 3.
