[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] TAUMARUNUI, Monday. The Taumarunui Golf Club's season was opened officially on Saturday, when there was a large attendance on the links. After the prebident, Mr. W. Hughes, had declared the links open, a mixed foursomes over 12 holes was played. Hughes and Miss Corlett were the winners with a gross score of 59 and a net score of 45.
