OTAHUHU MEMORIAL.
UNVEILING OF STATUE. The bronze equestrian statue presented to the Borough of Otahuhu as a war memorial by Mr. A. Trenwith and erected beside the Nixon monument in Great South Road, will be unveiled by His Excellency the Governor-General at 3 o'clock to-morrow afternoon. A procession will be formed in the grounds of the Otahuhu public school at 2 o'clock, and will include returned soldiers and nurses, territorials, cadets, Boy Scouts, Girl Guides, school children, members of the Borough Council, the fire brigade and friendly societies. A halt will be made to lay wreaths at the foot of the wayside cross in the grounds of Holy Trinity Church. Local ministers of religion will take part in the ceremony at tha memorial, and His Excellency will deliver an address.
