ARBITRATION COURT.
EMPLOYERS' REPRESENTATIVE Mr. G. T. Booth, the newly-appointed representative of the employers on the Arbitration Court, was welcomed at the opening of the Court yesterday. Hopes were expressed that Mr. Booth's efforts would be beneficial to industry and the cause of industrial peace. Replying to speeches of welcome, by representatives of the employers, the employees and the bar, Mr. Booth said he realised the responsibilities of the position. He thought, however, he would bo able, with a virtually life-long knowledge of industrial affairs, to come to a reasonable and just decision on most cases which would come before the Court.
