Mrs. ,T. A. Tripe, of Wellington, is visiting Auckland. -

Mrs. Gainor Rodgers, of Tauranga, is visiting Auckland and is staying at Cargen.

Mrs. V. Barker, of Gisborne, is visiting Auckland and is staying at the Grand Hotel.

The Misses Pcacocke, of Auckland, who have been visiting Rotorua, have returned to Cargen. -

Mrs. R. W. McVilly, of Wellington, is visiting Auckland and is staying at the Star Hotel.

The Misses M. and A. Glenn, of Victoria, are visiting Auckland and arc staying at the Grand Hotel.

Mrs. G. W. Wilkin, who has been visiting Tuapi, has returned to Auckland and is staying at Arundel.

Mrs. Claud Abbott, of Epsom, and her two daughters have returned after spending the Laster holidays at Rotorua.

Miss M. Darling has returned from a visit to the South Island and Wellington, and is in residence at Glenalvon, Waterloo Quadrant.

Mrs. Kenneth Richardson left for Wellington on Monday evening accompanied by Miss Nancy Otway, who will be the guest of Mrs. McHardy, Palmerston North.

The report submitted at the annual meeting of the Claudelands Anglican Ladies' Guild yesterday afternoon showed that £l6B had been raised during the year by the guild Mrs. H. Valder was elected president for the ensuing year.

Tho monthly membership meeting of the Young Women's Christian Association was Jjeld in the association buildings yesterday afternoon. Mrs. Todd Smith presided. During the afternoon some delightful songs and pianoforte solos were contributed by Mrs. Kersey, and at afternoon tea the Girl Citizens waited upon the members Following tea Miss Begg, the general secretary, welcomed tho new members, of whom there were about 30, and explained the purpose and aims of the association.
