LATEST SALES UP TO 995.

Butter, according to latest advices from London, continues to sell at rates up to 1765, while cheese is now comma&ding up to 99a on a firm market.

In sympathy with the appreciated values, British importers have -increased their advances from la 2d to Is 3d on butter and from 8d to on cheese.

Amalgamated Dairies, Limited, received the following cablegram dated March 8, from their London manager: —Butter: Finest, 1765; market unchanged, some resales at a slightly lower price; quiet demand. Danish, 188s, f.o.b. Cheese: White and coloured, 98s to 995; market firm, with upward tendency. Joseph Nathan and Company, Limited, received the following cablegram from their London house, Trengrouse and Nathan, Limited:—Butter: 174s to 1765; market quiet, but firm. Cheese: The market closed firm at 98s to 995. Norden and Company, Limited, received the following cablegram from their London principals, Andrew Clement and Sons, Limited: —Butter: Salted, 172s to 1745, equal to Is 4.72 d.and Is 4.93 d f.0.b,; unsalted, 1745. Cheese: 98s to 995, equal to 8.85 d and 8.95 d f.o.b. Dalgety and Company, Limited, received the following cablegram from ; their London house dated March 8: Butter: The market has been quiet during this week, but there is now more doing. New Zealand, finest salted, 171s to 1745; Danish, 198s to 2003;. Australian, finest salted, 164s to 168s; finest unsalted, 164s to 168s; good average quality, 156s to 160s.
