FULL AMOUNT AWARDED. ' JURY'S COMMENT ON CLAIM. «£B5l TELEGBAJPH.—OWN - v'OUIi'ESfONDENT.J HAMILTON. Friday. A jury was empanelled in the Hamilton Supreme Court (in divorce), to-day, to assess the amount- of damages which should be granted to petitioner William Holland, labourer, of Frankton (Mr. J. P. Strang), in a case in which Ethel Lydiai Holland was respondent and James Ritchie co-respondent, neither of whom appeared. The petitioner sought a dis--solution of the marriage, custody of the five children, and that co-respondent be ordered to pay £3OO damages. Petitioner said he was married in 1812, and lived happily till 1927, when Ritchie formed a friendship with his wife. The jury awarded the full amount .claimed, and expressed regret that the amount asked for was not larger, A decree nisi was granted. Co-respondent was ordered to pay £3OO into Court within one month.
