STRUCK BY AN ENGINE.
FATE OF ELDERLY MAN. "Accidental death" was the verdict returned by "Mr, F. K. Hunt, S.M., coroner, at the inquest yesterday into the death of Samuel Hare, aged 65, gardeuer, who died as a result of severe head injuries sustained when he was accidentally struck by an engine at the Glen Eden railway platform on February 29. Deceased, who resided with his wife at West Coast Road, Glen Eden, succumbed to shock following the injuries.
