Mr. and. Mrs. J. Kelly, of Wellingtoa, arc at the> Royal HeteL Mr. R. P. Ward, Under-Secretary of Justice, is on a visit to Auckland. Mr. G. Baildon, Mayor of Auckland, : left last evening for Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. E. Hardy, of Nebraska, United States, are at the Grand Hotel Sir Walter Stringer and Lady Stringer ' left for Wellington by train last evening.
Mr. P. J. Nathan and Mr. Beaumont Smith, of Wellington, are at the Grand Hotel.
Mr. C, M. Carr, of Rotorua, and Mr. C. S. Livingston, of Matangi, are at the Central Hotel.
Mr, W. H. Inskip, of London, Mr. A. C. Lavington, of Te Kuifci, and Mr. Wyvern Wilson, S.M., of Hamilton, are at the Hotel Cargen.
Mr. A. A, Jenkin, of Sydney, Mr. W. Peterson, of Hamilton, and Mr. L. E. Aldridge and Mr. J. M. Tudhope, of Wellington, are at the Star Hotel
Mr. W. Woonton and Mr. A. Fry, of Te Kuiti, Mr, C. M. Beveridge and' Mr. W. Murdoch, of Wellington, and Mr. W. Pass and Mr. H. Hansen, of Putaruru, are at the Royal Hotel.
Major-General J. A. Douglas, of England, who is on a holiday visit to the Dominion, arrived from Rotorua yesterday, and is at the Grand Hotel. Accompanied by Mrs. Douglas, he h;;s made sn extended tour of the Dominion, and has done some trout-fishing in the Rotorua district. Major-General Douglas was born at Dunedin, and has had a distinguished military career. Wilh JMrs. Douglas he will leave by the Niagara on Tuesdav on the return to England.
