NEW ZEALAND SCHOLARS.
SUCCESSES IN ENGLAND. A. and N.Z. LONDON, March 7. The New Zealand Rhodes scholar Mr. C. E. Low, has been awarded the Heath Harrison travelling scholarship in' German. Mr. F. W. W. Rhodes, winner of the 1927 New Zealand University's travelling scholarship, has been awarded the scholarship in French. Mr. C. E. Low, of Canterbury College, was elected Rhodes scholar in 1926. Mr. F. W. W. Rhodes, a graduate in Arts of Canterbury College, was awarded a postgraduate travelling scholarship last year.
