POLAND AND LITHUANIA.
MEDIATION IN OISPUTE.

A. and N.Z.-Suu. GENEVA, March 7. It is understood that Professor A. Voldemaras, Premier aud Minister of Foreign Affairs in Lithuania, has informed the League of Nations that his own presence at Geneva would be superfluous in connection with the mediation effort in his country's dispute with Poland, Ho says he has already stated the Lithuanian point of view to Poland. The Dutch Foreign Minister, Dr. F. B. van Blokland, has offered his services iu the mediation proceedings. The Soviet representative, Litvin'off, is due at Geneva next Tuesday to attend the sitting of the Preparatory Committee on Disarmament, fixed for March 15.
