NICARAGUAN CAMPAIGN
AMERICAN NAVAL FORCES. WITHDRAWAL MOVE FAILS. A. and N.Z. WASHINGTON. March 7. The Foreign Relations Committee of the Senate to-day voted unanimously in favour of continuing the occupation of Nicaragua by '.United States marines. This was in opposition to a motion moved by Mr. J. T. Heffin, Democrat member for Alabama (Lafayette), to withdraw the marines.
The chairman of the committee, Mr. W. E. Borah, said: " Speaking for myself I want to see us get out of Nicaragua and stay out> but I know of no way of so doing decently, with justice to all parties, except that of holding the clecw. ,
