IRAK AND MANDATE.
London agent recalled. 1 ADVOCATES INDEPENDENCE, A. and N.Z.-Sitn. LONDON. Feb. 17. The diplomatic agent of Irak in London, MtlZ&hiffi Bey, has been suddenly recalled. He is to be replaced by the exPrifne Minister Jafar Pasha. Muzahim Bey said he was in favour of the most friendly relations with Britain, fcut his colleagues in the Cabinet knew he was opposed to a mandate - He considered that Irak nhould have complete independence, but against that the door had been closed for another five years. As soon as he reached Bagdad he would establish a new Nationalist Party.
