TASMAN FLIGHT FUND.
MEMORY OF AIRMEN. SUPPORT * FOR THE WIDOWS. LIST TO CLOSE SOON. The Tastnan Flight Fund, opened by the Herald,, will shortly be closed, and those who intend subscribing are there 7 foro requested to forward their contributions as soon as possible. The purpose of the fund is to pay tribute to the memory of Lieutenant Moncrieff and Cap tain Hood, who died in their attempt to fly the Tasman Sea. As their widows have been left without support, the best way of honouring the memory of their husbands is to malfe some provision for them. The money received by the Herald will be divided between them. It is a worthy cause and an obligation. The appeal is therefore renewed. The list to date is as follows:
