AUCKLAND'S ASCENDANCY. SHIPMENTS FOR SIX WEEKS. AGGREGATE OF 250,000 BOXES. Oiicb again, through the medium of the latest space-allotment schedule issued by the Dairy Prpduce Board, is Auckland's ascendancy* as the producer of more than half the total quantity of butter exported from the Dominion emphasised. The schedule, covering shipments from February 1 to March 17 next, shows tha.t of space allotted for 413,951 boxes of butter from all ports for that period, Auckland's contribution will be 253,250 boxes, or over 61 per cent, of the Dominion aggregate, Space has been provided for 182,378 crates of Now Zealand cheese, 23,890 of which, or over 13 per cpnt., will be loaded at Auckland. Following are details of shipments by various steamers showing the date of de-' parture from New Zealand, the due date in the United Kingdom, and the number of boxes of butter and crates of cheese to be shipped from Auckland and all Dominion ports, the figures for butter being given above those for cheese in each case:— Depart. The ports of departure of the steamers enumerated are :-r-Auckland: Rimutaka, Gallic, Port Melbourne, Port Bowen, Middlesex, and Matatua. Wellington: Ruahine, Northumberland, Tainui, Cumberland, Port Caroline, Huntingdon, Arawa, Hertford and Mataroa. Dunedin: Mamilius. Napier: Tairoa. Space in tie Port Bowen has yet to be allocated in accordance with shippers' requirements. .
