OBITUARY.
MR. ISAAC MOIR. f Mr. Isaac Mpir, formerly an Auckland settler, died at Dunedin last week, at the age of 75 years. On his marriage about 45 years ago he went to the Bay of Plenty district, where ho was engaged in farming for a considerable time. During that period he. took a keen interest in the welfare of the district, and was associated with the directorate of several dairy factory companies. With his family he returned to Dunedin some years ago and had resided at Littlebourne up to the time of his death, which terminated a lengthy illness. He is survived by his widow and a family of three sons and four daughters. MR. R. C. REYNOLDS. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] EOTORUA, Sunday. The death occurred this morning of Mr. Richard Childey Reynolds, a pioneer farmer of Cambirdge, who, with his brother, Mr. Henry Reynolds, established the first butter factory in the Dominion, and exported to London the first butter for sale from New Zealand. He was a great cattle breeder and judge of stock. Ho leaves three sons and six married daughters. THE REV. C. E. NICHOLAS. [Bt TELEGRAFH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] WHANGrAREI, Sunday. The death occurred yesterday of the Rev. Charles Edmund Nicholas, aged 77. lie was a native of Sussex, England, and when two years of age arrived at Wellington with his parents. For some years until 1924 he was acting-vicar at Karno and Ilikurangi, but, finding the work too severe, lie resigned, and took up his residence at Royal Oak, Auckland, lie was admitted to orders in 1911, and prior to that served for 40 years in the Post and Telegraph Department. lie was postmaster successively at Cromwell, Clyde, Feilding, Motueka, Bulls. Whangarei, Tauranga and Stratford. As a minister he officiated at Napier, Dannevirke, Matamau and Pakehunga. Rotorua, and latterly in North Auckland.
