THE MINERS' SECRETARY. MONTH GIVEN TO RESIGN. Sun. LONDON, Dec. 31. The secretary of the Miners' Federation of Great Britain, Mr. A. J, Cook, has been receiving so many threatening letters that ho is seeking legal advice. The latest letter, from Gateshead, delivered on Chrstmas Eve, says: "We give you a month to hand in your resignation, otherwise we will shoot you like the cur you are. Get out and let masters and men get on with the work of repairing the damage you have done."
