HOLIDAY WEATHER. HERALD'S SPECIAL FORECAST. The following weather forecast for 72 hours from 7 a.m. to-day was supplied to us by Mr. H. M. Vincent last evening :—Fair to cloudy and. cool weather conditions are indicated, with occasional showers, particularly in southern districts, and along the East Coast of the North Island. A scattered rainfall is expected, but improving everywhere shortly, fine weather following. Southerly to southeasterly winds, strong to gale, ruling in northern areas, and strong south-wester-lies prevailing in western and southern districts. Conditions are likely to be very boisterous, although moderating after about 24 hours. Seas rough.
