WEDDINGS.

The marriage was celebrated in St. Benedict's Church on Monday afternoon of Miss Isobel McGrath, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. McGrath, Mount Albert, to Mr. Arnold Wragg, of Sheffield. The Rev. Monsignor Ormond officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of ■ivory satin with touches of silver. Her ;veil of hand-made Brussels lace was caught in placo with sprays of orange iblossom and she carried a sheaf of Madonna lilies. Miss Evelyn McGrath, sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid, wearing a frock of cyclamen georgette fwith a picture hat to tone, and carried •a shower bouquet of carnations and (dahlias. Mr. Meyri<jh Jones, of Wangajnui, acted as best man.

A pretty wedding took place at St. Matthew's Church, on Wednesday, when Miss Aileen Ethena Clark, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. Clark, of Newton, •was married to Mr. Roy Wilson, fifth son of Mr. and the late Mrs. R. Wilson, of Ponsonby. Canon Grant Cowen officiated. The bride, who was given away Iby her father, wore a frock of ivory georgette and silk lace over ivory satin. Her tullfi veil was finished with a coronet of orange blossom and pearls, and she carried a shower bouquet of white and pale pink carnations, and miniature arum lilies. Miss Nellie Dalbeth and 31i;;s Vere Dalley acted as bridesmaids, •Jthe former wearing delphinium blue georgette, and the latter peach georgette. Both wore head-dresses of finely •pleated tulle and silver, and they carried -prcuy bouquets to tone. Mr. Charlie Reid acted as best man, and Mr. Len Clark was groomsman.

r A pretty wedding of considerable local interest was solemnised at the Memorial (Church at Maunsjatapere, on December 33 when Edna Mildred, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Ellis, was marTied to Douglas George, second son of JMr. and Mrs. G. S. B. Morrison, also of Maungatapcra. The Rev. G. W. JLochore officiated. Little Lesley Tait, cousin of the bride, and Natalie Russell, *nade dainty flower girls, in blue georgette, the petalled skirts falling softly cyer silver lace.
