REVIEW OF THE FIELDS. BY PICADOR. Tho Tamaki Handicap has attracted a nice field and it should be a decent betting race. Backers will probably follow form and give most support to Raima, Nelson Boy and Gold Star. Sixteen figure on tho card for the Park Handicap. The Taipare-Daytime bracket is likely to make a strong appeal to backers, us both horses kavo raced well at the meeting. Padlock and Bingen King may also claim attention. There is a nice field of eight in the President's Handicap and it should provide a fine contest. Kohara, who is likely to be an improved horse for his racing, may command strong support, while Jack Potts and Peterwah may also have many adherents. Tho New Year Handicap has drawn 19 acceptors and the field will probably be the biggest of the day. It is an open race, but ' Great Change, Appeal, and Petroleuse may share the public confidence. One of the best contests of the day may be provided by the Telegraph Handicap, which has attracted 'a nice field. It should be a good betting race and solid horses like Loch Moip.'li, King Pointer end Native Prince may be fancied. A field of speedy sprinters will be seen in action in the Onslow Handicap. All engaged are capable of running a merry mile, but at "the handicaps Tom ihumb. Nelson Fame, arid Jewel Pointer may be the popular fancies. Twelve good trotters are engaged in the Association Handicap. Young Blake, Money Spider and Tiger Salve are in fine form at present and may share tho public confidence.
