DANCING.
The Dixieland Cabaret will celebrate New Year's Eve this evening, when special novelties will be introduced. Patrons will be able to dance the old year out and the new year in, under ideal conditions, Favours will be distributed, and cabaret items will be given by the "Snappy Three," jazz vocalists. There will be a dansant this afternoon, and a special afternoon tea dance on Monday. On Monday evening champion dancers from Auckland and Wellington will compete in a dancing competition. Walter Smith's Click Clack Radio Band will play at St. Benedict's Hall on Monday evening. Streamers and favours will add to the attractions of the evening. The Felix Dance Club will welcome the New Year in at the Orange Hall this evening with fitting revelry. Georgo Shorland's orchestra will be in attendance, and novelties and favours will add. to the enjoyment of dancers..
