BANKRUPT'S DISCHARGE.
A RECENT MURDER TRIAL. After having been acquitted in Perth, Western Australia, on two charges of wilful murder at Norseman, Robert Anderson appeared in the Bankruptcy Court as an applicant for unconditional discharge. He said that he was adjudged bankrupt in 1927 in regard to £B6B, hi? deficiency being £441. He was formerly a saddler in Perth, but took up farming and lost £6OOO. He was now secretary of a pastoral company at Norseman, at a salary of £2 a week, with keep. While working at Norseman the recent tragedy occurred. . Anderson said that he was getting old and could see no chance of doing anything for his creditors. He was grantod an unconditional discharge.
