Sir, —I should esteem it a great favour if you would allow ni© to inquire through youi'-columns as to the best method of preserving maidenhair after .it has been gathered. It- is my intention, shortly, to export a quantity of this growth and I am desirous of knowing how best to keep >t fresh and green over as long a period as possible. 1 have no doubt that someone among the large number of my co-readers of your paper will be able to help me.
