OBITUARY.
MR, ROBERT McWATT, [BY TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] PUKEKOHE, Thursday. The death occurred yesterday of Mr. Robert McWatt, aged 64 years, a wellknown resident of the Franklin district. He was born in Auckland, and with his parents, came to this district in the pioneering days. They settled firjsfc at Pollock, and later at Kohekohe. Mr. McWatt was married at Kohekobe. He farmed tilers for a' number of years, and later was engaged in farming at Otanu and at Aka Aka. Eight years ago he retired, and lived in Pukekohe. He is survived by his wife, four sons and five daughters. MRS. ELIZA McCOMISH. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.! CAMBRIDGE, Thvs' ay. The death occurred yesterday morning of a Cambridge pioneer, Mrs. Eliza McComish, widow of the late Mr. James McComish, aged 87 yearsi. With her hus band and family Mrs. McComish came to New Zealand from County Down, Ireland, 50 years ago by the sailing ship Otaki and "had resided at Cambridge ever since. She leaves two daughters and two sons. There are seven grandchildren.
