BAYSWATER BATHS.
NEED OF IMPROVEMENTS. # . Attention to the condition of the Bayswater swimming baths was drawn by the Takapuna Boating Club in a letter received by the Takapuna 13o;rough Council last evening. The letter stated the club had decided to accept the terms of the council for control of the baths, but pointed out the baths were m a state of disrepair. Among this matters requiring attention were the steps - which were at present floating in the baths. The club asked for a lifebuoy and sufficient rope for emergency purposes Unless such improvements were mao'e the comm.utee did not feel justified in opening the baths for the season. The matter was referred to the Work* Committee*
