BAYSWATER BATHS.

NEED OF IMPROVEMENTS. # . Attention to the condition of the Bayswater swimming baths was drawn by the Takapuna Boating Club in a letter received by the Takapuna 13o;rough Council last evening. The letter stated the club had decided to accept the terms of the council for control of the baths, but pointed out the baths were m a state of disrepair. Among this matters requiring attention were the steps - which were at present floating in the baths. The club asked for a lifebuoy and sufficient rope for emergency purposes Unless such improvements were mao'e the comm.utee did not feel justified in opening the baths for the season.
