AMATEUR ATHLETICS.

AUCKLAND CLUB'S MEETTNG. W. T. BRAY WINS SIDEY CUP. The Auckland Amateur Athletic and Cycle Club held a successful meeting at the Domain last evening, when a particularly fine programme of running and cycling events was witnessed. The track was in excellent order, and fast times were recorded. The attendance was unusually large. The Sidey Cup for cyclists was won by W, T Bray, with nine points. M. P. Byrnes and H. G. Browin were equal for second place with five points. The -.ooyd b handicap was a spectacular event, ana the final, which was wop by Li. B. Hook, provided an exciting finish, four of the finalists finishing almost in a line. The scratch men A J. Elliott and L. C.
