NEW BOAT FOR OTAGO. i t«y TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] DUNEDIN, Tuesday Built specially for tho purpose of competing in tho series of preliminary races to be sailed between the .Jellicoo class boats on tho harbour during tho next month, to select Otago's challenger for the Sanders Cup, tho new ltonn typo boat Eileen was successfully launched this evening at Ravonsbourno. The adve.it of tho Eileen is the result of a co-operative effort on tho part of several boating enthusiasts who formed themselves into a syndicate to build her. Tho originator of the scheme was Mr. P. Hunter. Tho boat was built by Mr. E. Leach, who has done ihe work freo of charge. It is claimed that tho Eileen is the nearest approach to uny Rom* typo boat built in Otago.
