WEDDING.
A very pretty wedding was solemnised on Wednesday evening at the Church cf Christ, Ponsonby Road, when Miss Lillian Riesterer, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Riesterer, of Avondal?, was married to Mr. Charles Edward Tanner, of Wellington. .The ceremony was performed by Pastor T. J. Bull. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, wore a charming frock of ivory satin beaute, panelled with silver lace and caught on the shoulder with orange blossoms. Her veil of tulle was beautifully embroidered with silver lilies and was drapod at the side of the head with clusters of orange blossoms. She carried a beautiful shower bouquet of white carnations, Christmas lilies and maidenhair fern. The bride was attended by Miss Hazel Riesterer and Miss Clorine Rielly as bridesmaids. Miss Hazel Riesterer wore a dainty frock of green taffeta trimmed with wide silver lace. She carried a bou quet. of autumn tinted flowers, swathed in tulle to tone. Miss Clorine Rielly's frock was of mauve taffeta similarly made and she carried a bouquet to tone. Their head-dresses were folded bands of silver tissue daintily trimmed with rosebuds. The bridegroom was attended bv Mr. Lawrence Riesterer. brother of the bride, as best man, and Mr. Gordon Cornes as groom small.
