MOTOR-CYCLE RACING.
DECEMBER COMPETITIONS. A field has been assured for the motor-cycle race meeting to be held at Alexandra Pirk on Saturday, December 10, in aid of he unemployment relief fund. A number of southern riders have entered and the response from local motor-cyclists hna been exceptionally keen P. Coleman, holder of ninny records, has definitely announced his intention to compete. His record for the mile is 4">;s which places him at the head of the grass track riders of the world Spencer Strnttfin, who has been riding with success overseas, will not be seen against Coleman, as he has not brought a 7 horse-power mnchine to New Zealand. Stratton's time for the mile in 475. Entries will clobc to-morrow,
