MASONIC GRAND LODGE.
THE GOVERNOR'S ILLNESS. One effect of the illness of the Gov-ernor-General, Sir Charles Fergnsson, is that he will be nnable to attend the annual communication of the Masonic Grand Lodge of .New Zealand, which is to be held in Christcliurch on November 30. Having been unanimously re-elected by the lodges ho was to have been reinstalled as grand master. It is intended, however, that communication shall ho held ns already planned, 1 the Pro. Grand Master, Mr. George Russell, of Wellington, presiding. Arrangements will be made later for installation of grand master* at one of the centres.
