BOY EXAMINING DETONATOR. FINGERS OF ONE HAND SUFFER. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WHANGARET, Sunday. A lad, William Wilson, aged 14, residing at Kamo, was examining a detonator with a darning needle yesterday, when the detonator exploded, blowing off the tops of the fingers of the left hand, in which the boy was holding the detonator. He also received injuries to the body. The youth was reported to-day to be progressing well at the hospital.
